Pricing FAQs
- Can the ML model be set up offline / on-premise?
Yes. ANPR Edge reads plates on a Windows PC or Mac at your location, with one license per location and no per-camera license; the PC checks in with us at least every 3 days for licensing and updates. A fully air-gapped deployment, including the engine in a Docker container on your own GPU hardware, is available on request. Leave your contact info and our team will get back to you to scope it.
- What does a credit buy?
One credit is $0.005 and pays for one plate processed or one vehicle analyzed. A photo of one car with one plate costs two credits: one for the plate (OCR and plate attributes) and one for the vehicle (body type, colour, position, brand and model — charged once per vehicle however many of those ran). plate_only=true spends only the plate credit. An image with nothing in it still costs one credit.
- Why is the price the same on every plan?
Because the plans sell capacity, not a discount. Every plan credits your wallet with its price divided by $0.005 — $15 is 3,000 credits, $50 is 10,000 — and what goes up the ladder is cameras, barriers, requests per minute and log retention. Pick the rung that fits your locations; you never pay more per plate for being small.
- Do credits expire? What happens if I cancel?
Credits never expire. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for; after that your remaining credits are held — not deleted — and come back the moment you subscribe again. Free accounts get 100 free credits every month without a subscription.
- Can I buy more credits without changing plan?
Yes. On any paid plan you can top up at the same $0.005 per credit — $25, $100, $300 or $1,000 — and the credits add to your balance. Switch on auto top-up and the card on your subscription buys the top-up you chose whenever your balance falls to your threshold. Top-ups need an active plan: the plan is your access, the wallet is your usage.
- Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately — Stripe charges the prorated difference for the rest of the period and those dollars land in your wallet as credits. Downgrades apply at your renewal, so you keep the plan you paid for until then. Your balance carries over either way.
- Are there volume discounts?
Enterprise starts from $500/month with 100,000+ credits, unlimited cameras and barriers, custom rate limits and retention, and an SLA. Contact us and we quote per account.
- What payment methods do you accept?
